Logan Evan Thomas is an international award-winning innovative pianist, composer, and producer residing in New York City.  He has studied and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.  In 2010, he was honored to win 1st place at the Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition, as well as finish 2nd place at the Montreux International Jazz Piano Competition.   


The previous year, Logan was 1 out of 4 pianists nationwide chosen to participate in Fred Hersch's "Solo Duo Trio" workshop and present a concert in Carnegie Hall.  In college, Logan was honored to win in the "Best Arrangement" category, as well as "Best Original Composition" category of the "Downbeat Student Music Awards".  He is the founding member of the collective group Manner Effect who’s debut album “Abundance” made it on the 2012 GRAMMY ballot.  He has also made a name for himself as a film composer and music producer for many talented artists of different musical genres.  


In 2010, Logan was the composer and music producer of a  9/11 documentary feature film by Joseph Angel entitled "A View From Sunset Park" which won "Best New York Documentary" at the 2010 NY International Film Festival.   Logan is also a highly sought after music educator, teaching one on one private lessons, group classes, as well as interactive master classes.  In addition to being an artist, Logan is the Executive Vice President of Jalreign Music Global (JMG), in which he heads the Caverock Music brand, consisting of a music production company, recording studio, record labels, a performance venue, and a music T.V network.
